CREATION OF A MONUMENTAL FOUR-LEVEL CHANDELIER – HERITAGE HOME IN GENEVA
In a distinguished heritage home in Geneva, a spectacular custom-made chandelier was created to enhance a stairwell nearly 10 meters high. The aim was to design a luminous installation that feels both airy and poetic, conceived as a true vertical thread connecting the home's four levels.
The design features the Scraplights Pebbles collection by Graypants, whose organic forms are inspired by pebbles collected from three beaches near Seattle. Each shade is named after its beach of origin and marked with the exact coordinates of the original stone, lending the installation a unique and authentic narrative.
The placement of each pendant was meticulously planned to ensure precise intervals between each staircase landing, creating a harmonious and balanced visual rhythm. This interplay of suspended forms brings life to the vertical space while respecting the classical elegance of the original architecture.
The chandelier thus becomes a striking focal point, blending modernity, craftsmanship, and poetry—while enhancing the charm and character of this historic Geneva residence.
REFINED TRANSFORMATION OF A GUEST ANNEX IN GENEVA
This project, carried out in Geneva, involved transforming an annex into a warm and sophisticated guest space. The architectural concept focused on enhancing the existing volumes, elevated by a careful selection of noble materials and harmonious color palettes.
Natural oak serves as the common thread throughout the design, adorning doors, floors, bathroom furniture, and the kitchen worktop. The custom-designed kitchen and wardrobe are dressed in an elegant cashmere hue, adding a soft, understated touch to the ensemble.
A rich interplay of textures and colors unfolds through the smoky and pastel-toned ceramics by Natucer, and the delicate wallpaper by Nina Campbell, both chosen for their refined character. Brushed brass, used for the accessories, introduces a precious and contemporary accent.
Lighting was conceived as an architectural statement, featuring sculptural pieces such as the Labra chandelier and sconces from Hudson Valley, and the Pendant Light Antic suspension lamp from Westwing. The Stella fittings complete the space with subtlety and elegance.
Every detail was designed to create an atmosphere that is both intimate and sophisticated, where comfort and aesthetics coexist in perfect harmony.
